About Us

Pink Asparagus is a feminist arts and culture magazine based in Toronto, Ontario. Our coverage focuses primarily on the social, political, and cultural impact of art. We highlight media that we find compelling and important. We write about how art makes us feel. We don’t ever write about form without considering a work’s ideology and societal impact.

Our politics are non-ambiguous. We stand in solidarity with all anticolonial struggles. We condemn the ongoing genocide in Gaza and the illegal invasion of Venezuela. We are pro-abolition and anti-military. We stand against misogyny, patriarchy, white supremacy, racism, ableism, homophobia, fascism, imperialism, land-ownership and billionaires.
