Hammam spa on King West is fine.
For $65 you can do their steam ritual experience which includes access to a large steam room, a lovely tea room and a clean locker room. That said, their facilities are in a basement, which is a worthwhile trade off to being able to spa on King St West. Nordique looks lovely, but I would never hit a friend up like “let’s go to the depths of Whitby at 5:30PM after you worked from home all day and are depressed”. It’s much easier to be like “let’s meet at King west because we’re both already on King west for our jobs (deep sigh)”. This being my first experience at a downtown spa, I would say it was good, moderate maybe. It was very clean, and pleasant, but not life-changing. You know? I would try other places before I go back.
